For as long as I can remember I have always loved looking at photo albums. Whether they were mine or not, I loved the ability to visit a time I forgot, a time I wasn't old enough to remember, or one that existed before me. The photograph is a powerful piece of history and our way to experience the world. As a wife and mother, the importance of this has become even stronger. I want these times in our lives documented so that as I get older, and my children get older, we have the ability to go back in time. I get to relive my wedding day with my husband, as well as my children. I see the excitement and happiness that not only the two of us shared that day, but all of our family and friends who helped us celebrate the beginning of our forever. I love that!

I can always revisit my daughter before she could walk, I can see what my son looked like when he still had his baby teeth. I can remember what our life was like before these two tiny humans completed our family. I have proof that we were here, and we had wonderful life experiences together. The fact that I have a career that allows me to do this for others is not something that is lost on me. I believe very strongly in the power and impact these images we create together have, not only for us, but for all those people we hold close to our hearts. These images will far outlast us, and allow our families to go back and relive a time they forgotten, a time they weren't old enough to remember, or a time that existed before them.
